Here is the latest in our Club’s efforts to assist through service to our community
Rotarian Maree has been very busy assisting the Indooropilly Uniting Church with collecting and distributing food parcels. Maree was contacted by Fendi at Archerfield Rotary Club with a donation of ten parcels of food items and linking that up with a donation of buns, rolls and bread Maree was able to deliver these parcels to IUC for distribution.
At our Wednesday night meeting the plight of 4 international students was raised and Rotarian Kerry decided that she would purchase products to create a food parcel for each student. She then combined with Maree to utilise some of the bakery goods to add to the parcels. She roped President Glendon into the project an the parcels were then delivered to the students.
