Gabba Rotary hosted an evening of networking for local charities and community organisations at Easts Leagues Club on 22 August 2019.
Keynote Speaker Ross Duncan from Spinal Life spoke on the effect of polio on polio suffers now reaching 60 plus and how in Australia it is almost the forgotten plague.
Mr Simeon Kormon from Queensland African Migrant Services spoke about integration and acceptance in the community and how grateful they were to be accepted into the community.
We also had some of the participants in Rotary programmes speak on the value of Rotary support with these programmes.
Overall everyone particiapted in an exchange of information and we hope some successful partnerships will eventuate.
