We have been working with Rotary Club of Brisbane River City by providing the kitchen where they can prepare meals for the disadvantaged each Saturday. They receive the meals from Foodbank and use our kitchen at the Gabba Senior Citizens and Community Hall in Woolloongabba.
We thought that we should provide RC Brisbane River City with treats for their clients on this important day so we baked and acquired ANZAC biscuits to be distributed with each meal. Julie baked and Anton and Kerry purchased ANZAC biscuits which Kerry and Glendon sealed in cellophane bags for freshness and safety delivering them to the hall for distribution with the meals.
