At 30th June each year the Rotary year ends and each club elects a new Board of Directors for the next year.
2023 / 2024 year change over was celebrated by Woolloongabba Club and Brisbane River City Club together at the Red Brick Hotel in Annerley Road. District Governor Paul Rogers presided and President Glendon Young was anointed to lead the Gabba, whilst President Brooke Thomas was anointed for BRC. BRC gave the Toast to Rotary International (and the “strange people” called Rotarians) and inducted several Rotaractors (junior Rotarians )into their Club.
The hotel served a delicious 2 course meal and the celebrations went into the night.
